Buildings and Nature - Bella Sabbagh Illustration

Since moving from London to Cumbria I have been inspired by many of the buildings, especially those in my village, which are made from local red sandstone. There are so many shades of pink and red and orange, and so many beautiful architectural features.

I also enjoy reproducing the detail in other buildings and houses, and a ‘house portrait’ of a childhood or current home can make a lovely gift.

I am lucky to be surrounded by a wealth natural beauty. I find acrylics are a great medium to portray the vibrant colours and textures of the natural world.
